Description
Oil-absorbent mats and pads are designed to help manage and clean up oil spills in industrial settings. They absorb oils while repelling water, making them suitable for environments where both oil and water are present.
Polypropylene is widely used in the manufacture of oil-absorbent mats and pads. This synthetic material absorbs oils and other hydrocarbons, while its hydrophobic properties allow it to naturally repel water. Its ability to absorb several times its own weight in oil makes it an efficient material for oil spill management.
These products are usually supplied in boxes of 100. Each box measures 41 × 41 × 51 cm and weighs 9 kg.
